NEnA: Power for female entrepreneurs

NEnA? Isn't this...?
No this has nothing to do with the German singer! And we are no supterstar casting show for sure. However, we are looking for talents: NEnA stands for Nano-Entrepreneurship-Academies - a nation wide initiative for female nano scientists, who consider onverting their ideas into entrepreneurship, i.e. to start their own company.
This initiative is patronized by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in line with the action programme "Power for Female Entrepreneurs".
Please take your time. For yourself, your ideas and your career. For one week you and us, we will jointly discover your entrepreneurial potential. Engross your ideas. Tinker with it. In teams. Guide them to your entrepreneurial plans. You have nothing to lose. You can only win. When, where and how? There are three locations in cooperation with three universities at three dates. One week training in entrepreneurial techniques and the realization of starting your own business. Get to know interesting people from science and economy, who will accompany your development. It is not only all about the chance to discover your entrepreneurial potential but also to become a part of the network with only one single objective: To make you and your ideas in nanotechnology big! Patronized by the University of Halle and in cooperation with the Zentrum für Weiterbildung gGmbH (center for advanced training), women.de GmbH and a strong nation-wide and regionally active network the one-week trining courses build a bridge between science and economy.
NenA is looking for: You!
3 times 32 female scientists in nanotechnologies with forward-looking ideas for one week with all you should know for your professional future. With individual coaching, conversations with successful female entrepreneurs, exciting discussions about questions of power and management, reconciliation of job and family and last but not least in a cosy ambiance. Or with other words: An interesting week is waiting for you. It will help you to get ahead – and you will enjoy it at the same time. Finally the best entrepreneurial idea is awarded – with the chance of a three-months stay in the USA as next career step.

Wehrspohn, initiator of NEnA, University of Halle (Saale) and Director of the Fraunhofer Institute.
